The Big O has been on vacation for a while at all the playoff games the last few weeks. He's back though with his annual STate Championship picks. Take a look.

Burlington Catholic Central vs. McDonell Central - BCC is a perrennial powerhouse, although McDonnell Central will give them a test. They play in a very tough conference that includes Edgar. MDC also had a quality win against STratford this year, so they know what good competition is. However, BCC is too good. Their QB runs and throws as good as aynone. Their spread offense will be too much for MDC. Look for a fairly high scoring game with BCC winning the title for the second straight year....Final Score: BCC 33, MDC 21

For some reason D6, D5, and D4 didn't publish, but he picked Edgar 33-7.

Here he picked Fondy Springs big as well, 35 -13

This one he got wrong. He figured it was going to be a lower scoring game. It looked like it at first. He thought Kewaune would be able to stick with Big Foot and win with a late field goal. Annnnnd obviously that didn't happen.
D3:
West De Pere vs. Reedsburg - Reedsburg plays in one of the toughest confernces in the state, so don't be fooled by their 3 losses. They did, however, get really lucky by some questionable play calling in the state semifinal game last week. With that being said, they are solid on both sides of the ball. Their three back system has been rolling along. Look for this game to be a pretty close one with Reedsburg getting a late touchdown for the win....Final Score: Reedsburg 23, West De Pere 16
D2:
Kimberely vs. Waunakee - Yeah, so the Badger North could have two state champs on the day. It'll happen, but many people are overlooking the Papermakers because Waunakee has been so good this season. It just seems like destiny for Waunakee. Look for them to rack up 350 total yards and hold Kimberley to single digits....Final Score: Waunakee 28, Kimberley 9
D1:
Marquette vs. Menomonie Falls - Marquette has taken on the best of the best this year. In fact, they've already beaten Menomonie Falls. They dominated a good Arrowhead team and the train is rolling. Look for John Lococo to rush for 150 yards and two scores and Marquette control the ball for most of the game. Falls will try to get back in it with a third quarter score to get within 3, but MAtquette pulls away late....Final Score: Marquette 31, Menomonie Falls 17
